On a first-come, first-served basis, registrants are welcome to attend an exclusive free reception at the National Museum of American History. Limited to 100 people, the reception will present the opportunity to see some of America's treasures owned by the Smithsonian. The one-hour program will be presented by Deborah Warner, curator of the instrument collection at the NMAH.

Included in the cost of either registration will be the Proceedings of the history sessions, to be published by Professional Surveyor Magazine.
