GREETINGS GOOD KNIGHTS!
.
Thoughts from the HomeLand...
.
Since I don't have a lot of new things to report for this newsletter, I thought I would throw a few curious thoughts your way and see what happens.
I have been a bit disgruntled recently about the state of education here in OKC and it's lack of funding.
The lastest bit of news is that the city "fathers" are diverting about ??Mil of funds that could go into our vastly underfunded education programs to subsidize a private business. Opponents of the proposal have said they are against the use of an estimated $18 million in funds the city said it would need for construction of the retailer's building and related project development. According to this report 70% of 500 citizens surveyed did not support the idea.
My intention here is not to turn this newsletter into a political vehicle; I am simply suggesting that we consider how we can raise the quality of the education available to our future generations.
Apathy leads to the Demise of Civilization....

Now, on to the subject of war games. If you really are disgusted with Saddam and Usama, you can relieve some of your frustrations HERE.
