Journal: Day 7 - South Park!

April 25th, 1998
Even though I am leaving today I still think it was one of the best days I've had so far. I woke up at the Bed & Breakfast this morning and we went down stairs and had a breakfast of chicken sausage and stuffed French Toast and I got a Strawberry Smoothie. We went out back to dad's friends office and they had a long talk about the magazine and conventions. When we were leaving I noticed that he had a Bob Dylan collection and he had 3 cd's that I don't have. We left that place and we drove across a couple of mountain passes, and we were there!!!!! We arrived in South Park!! We got a picture of a small sign that said South Park but I wanted something bigger. We went into South Park city and it is actually a restored 1880's town.

We turned into a place that we just had instinct to go to and I saw this really rough looking cowboy walking down the street. We got some pictures and we headed into a pottery store that the cowboy had walked into. We saw some South Park posters so I bought one of all the characters. We went to pay for the poster and we learned that the cowboy was Trey Parker's old metaphysics teacher! His name was also Ned, and Trey made him a character in South Park! He was also a Vietnam veteran like Ned in South Park and while he was teaching Trey he had a goatee like Ned in South Park!!!!! I shook his hand and was really impressed that I actually met him!!
We're landing now so I got to go and nothing much else happened that day.
